Ezhou Huahu Airport Witness 108,000 Passenger Throughput and 26,900t Cargo Throughput in Summer

   According to a recent report from Hubei International Logistics Airport Co., Ltd., Ezhou Huahu Airport had a successful summer travel season. The airport facilitated the takeoff and landing of 2,711 flights, accommodating a total of 108,000 passengers. On average, more than 1,700 passengers passed through the airport daily. In addition, the airport handled a significant shipment volume of 26,900 tons, including 11,200 tons of international shipments and 15,700 tons of domestic shipments. These remarkable numbers showcase the airport's outstanding performance. 

  During the summer travel season, Ezhou Huahu Airport went the extra mile to provide exceptional services for first-time passengers. These services included unique identification stickers, dedicated check-in counters, attentive security guidance and comprehensive assistance throughout the entire journey. These measures were put in place to ensure a smooth and hassle-free boarding and landing experience for both departing and arriving passengers. In terms of cargo transportation, Ezhou Huahu Airport established close collaborations with SF Airlines and other stationed units, guaranteeing the smooth transfer of cargo routes. Throughout the summer travel season, a total of 29 domestic cargo routes were successfully transferred to operate in Ezhou. Additionally, new cargo routes from Ezhou to Frankfurt, Germany, and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates were opened, further expanding the cargo route network.

  In order to efficiently handle challenging weather conditions such as thunderstorms and strong winds, the dedicated staff at Ezhou Huahu Airport worked tirelessly to ensure smooth and safe operations. The airport took proactive measures to strengthen aircraft supervision and implemented robust protocols for securely mooring aircraft during adverse weather. Additionally, emergency plans were enhanced to swiftly respond to any unforeseen circumstances. Close cooperation between the airport company and operational support units has facilitated timely communication and proactive weather warnings. This holistic approach has significantly improved the service quality, guaranteeing the safety and smooth travel of passengers and goods during the summer travel season.
