Ezhou Customs has recently achieved a significant milestone by successfully processing its first guarantee business for tax payment of express parcel. The limit for this transaction was set at RMB 1 million.
Hubei SF Express Co., Ltd., the pioneer in handling the guarantee business for tax payment of express parcel at Ezhou Customs, has successfully imported around 200,000 parcels in the first half of this year, amounting to a tax payment of approximately RMB 5.5 million. By taking charge of the guarantee business, the company can expedite the customs clearance process at Ezhou Customs for parcels within a year, without the need to pay taxes upfront. This convenience is available as long as the monthly tax payment remains within the specified guarantee limit.
The person in charge from Ezhou Customs highlighted the benefits of this service, stating that “it not only alleviates the financial burden caused by tax payment or deposit for companies, but also helps them save on costs. Additionally, it streamlines the tax payment process and simplifies customs declaration procedures for import, resulting in faster customs clearance and improved overall efficiency.” He further explained, “This non-financing credit service, known as ‘clearance before payment’, streamlines customs clearance for enterprises. It only requires a one-time processing and can be utilised repeatedly, and the efficiency is significantly improved.”
