According to the "Notice on Carrying out the Rural Revitalisation Demonstration in 2023" and the "Work Plan for the Rural Revitalisation Demonstration", the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Hubei Province and the Provincial Rural Revitalisation Bureau have organised the development and promotion of demonstration towns and villages for rural revitalisation throughout the province in 2023. In Ezhou city, two towns and ten villages have been selected.
Following independent applications, local recommendations, and expert reviews, a total of 50 towns and 500 administrative villages have been selected for the list of demonstration towns and villages for rural revitalisation in Hubei Province in 2023. Among them, Bishidu Town in Echeng District and Putuan Township in Huarong District have been chosen as demonstration towns, while Huawu Village in Tingzu Town, Zhangshuling Village in Bishidu Town, Tuanjie Village in Zelin Town, Liuhua Village in Huarong Town, Wusheng Village in Duandian Town, Shizhu Village in Putuan Town, Conglin Village in Zhaoshan Town, Wanxiu Village in Tujiaba Town, Baihuzhen Village in Gedian Town, and Zhaozhai Village in Shawo Township have been selected as demonstration villages.
It is understood that existing agricultural and rural-related projects and subsidy funds will be allocated to units for the demonstration and promotion of rural revitalisation, thanks to policy support. Rural industrial integration development projects, such as national modern agricultural industrial parks, agricultural industrial strong towns, and advantageous and characteristic industrial clusters, will give priority to supporting demonstration and promotion units that meet the criteria. Furthermore, local financial resources are encouraged to provide increased support for demonstration and promotional efforts. It is crucial to leverage financial resources and encourage both financial and social capital to participate in the demonstration and promotion of rural revitalisation.
