Liu Ziwen, the site manager from the CCCC Third Highway Engineering Co., Ltd., reported that the exterior decoration and outdoor flooring of the global air cargo logistics hub are currently being worked on. As of now, the mechanical and electrical fire protection and decoration work for the global air cargo logistics hub project have reached 85% completion, and the outdoor work is at 80% completion. The project is currently in its final stage.
The construction of the global air cargo logistics hub in the Ezhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone is a pivotal project in Hubei province. Since commencing in September of this year, the project has been working tirelessly to ensure safety and quality while racing against time. Significant progress has been made, contributing to Hubei's development as a gateway connecting the world and an inland hub for opening up. Liu Ziwen stated, "To meet the construction schedule, the project has been increasing the deployment of equipment and personnel, working around the clock, and sparing no effort to ensure that the decoration work will be completed by 25th November, with the project fully completed and delivered by 30th November."
The global air cargo logistics hub project in the Ezhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone spans a total construction area of 20,850 square metres, encompassing the global air cargo logistics hub, special storage, security room, and outdoor ancillary works. The project is in line with the development vision of Huahu Airport as a "cargo hub and passenger feeder line", serving as a comprehensive global air cargo logistics hub that supports international general cargo, express delivery, and the import and export of fresh goods.
Huang Wei, chief engineer of the global air cargo logistics hub at CCCC Third Highway Engineering Co., Ltd. in the Ezhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone, stated that upon completion, the project will help fully realise the value positioning of Huahu Airport, promote high-quality development of the Airport Economic Zone, and accelerate the construction of a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation corridor in Hubei. It will also strengthen the core hub area's radiation capacity and drive the development of cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
