Yanji Yangtze River Bridge’s Middle Crossbeam of Main Tower Successfully Poured

  On 17th December, the main tower’s middle crossbeam of the Yanji Yangtze River Bridge, as the world's first four main cable steel truss suspension bridge with different verticals, built by CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Company Ltd., was successfully poured.

  The Yanji Yangtze River Bridge project spans a total length of 26.1 kilometers with a 1860-meter main part. The structure of the main tower features a gate-shaped city wall with a height of 184 meters. The middle crossbeam poured this time reaches 100.2 meters above the ground, with a single cell box girder cross-section. The centerline length of the middle crossbeam is 36 meters, the cross-section height is 11 meters, and the width is 6.6 meters, using C60 concrete to pour in two stages, with the first pouring height of 6 meters and volume of 505.5 cubic meters, taking 14 hours in total; the second pouring height is 5 meters and the volume is 469.35 cubic meters, and it took 12.5 hours.
