In order to facilitate the “last 100 meters” for citizens to receive and send express parcels more smoothly, our city has accelerated the construction of express terminals since last year. So far, the city has built 259 community express points and 368 express cabinets, allowing our residents to enjoy convenient and efficient express delivery service.
Early in the morning every day in the Flying Goose Community Jufu Square near the SF Express Guanliu Business Department, express parcels piled up like a mountain. Scanning codes, sorting out different parcels... ... staff work together and then use a trolley to carry the parcels to the tricycle and start off the delivery mode.
Wan Yi, head of the business department, introduced that there are currently more than 50 couriers in the branch, receiving an average of more than 2000 parcels a day, sending nearly 3000 parcels, and serving nearly 100 districts in the old city.
“For the residents in the neighborhood, our service points can provide convenient and contactless delivery services. For the couriers, we can store parcels in batches, which helps to improve the speed and efficiency of delivery,” Wan said.
At present, the 259 community express delivery points that have been built in the city all realize the common storage and distribution of express parcels by different express delivery companies, thus allowing our residents to get express parcels shipped by different express companies at one point conveniently.
Since last year, the municipal postal administration has been vigorously promoting the standardization of express delivery business premises, through the standardization construction of business place, enterprise logo, system standard, facilities and equipment, personnel management, operation behavior, safety production, etc. It has built convenient and efficient express terminal service network, and effectively improved the quality of express service.
