At 5 o’clock on 6th March, a Boeing 747-400 all-cargo freighter arriving at Ezhou Huahu Airport has officially joined the SF Airlines Fleet, marking the first new freighter to be put into operation by SF Airlines this year. Subsequently, SF Airlines will also receive a freighter of the same type at Ezhou Huahu Airport, and the fleet size will be increased to 87 freighters.

It is reported that this B747-400ERF all-cargo aircraft, with registration No. B-2425 and a serving age of 17.6 years, was previously operated by China Cargo Airlines CO., Ltd. until July, 2023. Combined with the fleet development plan, a Boeing 747-400 of SF Airlines has been withdrawn from operation at the beginning of this year, and two newly-introduced Boeing 747-400 will be put into operation from March onwards, bringing the total number of this type of aircraft to four, and the overall capacity of the fleet will be further enhanced.

It is reported that since the introduction of the new capacity, Huahu Airport has accepted the new cargo aircraft from SF Express for the first time, and the new capacity will be put into operation on the Ezhou International route, thus supporting SF Airlines to build a “nationwide and global” cargo route network with Ezhou as the core.

Based on the growth of the customer demand, the number of routes and the fleet size, for the next step, SF Airlines will make every effort to enhance the level of safety management, strengthen the operation and security capabilities, continue to build a safe, efficient and reliable air logistics service, and facilitate the local economic development in a solid and steady manner.
