   On April 1, the 109-meter passenger ro-ro ship JAMBOXI (珍宝西), built by WUT Ship (Ezhou) Co. , Ltd. for the Indonesian DML company, completed customs and border inspection procedure for the export of international sailing ship in Zhoushan waters and was smoothly delivered.

  The ro-ro passenger ship is suitable for the inter-island shipping in Indonesia, with an overall length of 109.48m, a width of 21.60m, a depth of 6.50m, a gross tonnage of 9,007 tons, a sailing speed of 16 knots, and a capacity to carry 340 passengers and 105 vehicles. Through multi-channel ship-to-shore communication links such as satellite communication, the ship realizes centralized management and processing of ship-to-shore data, which provides an efficient, stable and safe data environment for intelligent energy efficiency management and intelligent navigation.

  “The JAMBOXI passenger ro-ro ship integrates new concepts, including safety, environmental protection, emission reduction, prevention and control, and intelligence. It has reached the international first-class level in terms of the aesthetics of ship design, wave resistance, passenger capacity, speed, energy saving, environmental protection as well as life-saving and fire-fighting standard, etc.” said Yun Yongjun, Head of the Technology Department at the WUT Ship (Ezhou) Co. , Ltd.
