As one of the key projects in Ezhou, the progress of the Municipal Comprehensive Archives Project has attracted much attention from the public. On May 10, the reporter saw at the construction site that the main part of the archives project has been completed, and the interior decoration and outdoor landscape construction are in progress. The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of June. By then, another landmark will be added to the city.

　　With a total investment of 167 million yuan, the Municipal Comprehensive Archives Project serves as a project to make up for the city’s shortcomings and strengthen its functions. The main construction contents of the project include archives storeroom, external service room, archives business room and technical room, as well as auxiliary room and auxiliary facilities. The total planned land area is 10,923 square meters, and the total construction area is 20,625.41 square meters.

　　In terms of the overall design, the Municipal Comprehensive Archives combines overlapping design concepts with staggered linear art design to represent the indoor and outdoor architectural forms and elements in an open and integrated form, so as to harmonize various space with the outdoor environment and to shape the beauty of harmony between human beings and buildings.

　　Since the project started on August 13, 2022, the project team has successively overcome many difficulties, including the limited space of sites, environmental control, careful planning, scientific organization, reasonable allocation of resources, etc. Great efforts are made once the work is started, with 40 days to complete 203 supporting piles and stone excavation construction and 90 days to complete the basement and the main structure of the roof.
