In 2023, Ezhou Steel developed 30 new products, won the second prize of Scientific and Technological Progress in Hubei Province, and was successfully selected as one of the “Top 100” high-tech enterprises in Hubei Province.
The project of “Research on corrosion-resistant and high-strength toughness medium-thick plate for offshore engineering and welding technology” of Ezhou Steel Company was successfully selected into the “Sharp Knife Project” of Hubei province, which has filled the blank of construction machinery steel for high-speed railway bridge girder erection machine in China. The self-developed high-strength and high-toughness steel for mobile tank trucks, compared with the original domestic tank trucks made of steel plate, the weight of the tank body part has been reduced by 20.6%, which effectively reduces the deadweight coefficient of the tank trucks, and the product has been ranked the first in the market share of steel for mobile tank trucks of Q420MPa and above over the past five years.
