At 3:49 a.m. on July 15, a B738 all-cargo plane took off from Ezhou Huahu International Airport and landed at Hanoi Noibai International Airport two hours later, which marks the official opening of the international cargo airline from Ezhou City to Hanoi.

As the first cargo airline to Vietnam opened by Huahu International Airport, running stably for 3 to 4 times a week, this route mainly undertakes the import and export transportation of general trade goods like industrial parts, mechanical and electrical products, and other special goods like some fresh fruits.

This June, Hubei International Logistics Airport Co., Ltd. has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Changjiang International Trade to build a win-win partnership with joint efforts, share resources and seek joint development. The opening of the Ezhou-Hanoi airline witnesses the first cooperation between the two sides to give full play to their own advantages and strengthen the strategic coordination. While the transportation capacity is enhanced, airlines numbers increased and supply channels broadened for Huahu International Airport, the two sides have speeded up the construction of a supply chain platform, better gathered production and service factors, and effectively promoted the construction of Huahu International Free Trade Airport.

The airline from Ezhou to Hanoi is operated by Wuhan Changjiang Supply Chain Service Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Wuhan Changjiang International Trading Group Co., Ltd. As a comprehensive logistics company, Wuhan Changjiang Supply Chain Service Co., Ltd. provides modern logistics services, logistics financial services and digital warehousing services mainly in the fields of grain, cold chain, non-ferrous metals, staple commodity and cross-border e-commerce.

In recent years, China-Vietnam economic and trade cooperation has achieved fruitful results thanks to China and Vietnam’s continuous efforts in promotion of regional economic integration and supports for companies’ cooperation in strategic and emerging areas such as connectivity, digital economy, environmentally friendly development and cross-border e-commerce, etc. Since 2016, Vietnam has maintained the role of China’s largest trading partner among ASEAN. The opening of the cargo airline from Ezhou to Hanoi has marked a new trade channel between Hubei Province and Vietnam, which will certainly promote closer cooperation between the industrial chain and supply chain in both China and Vietnam.
