A Boeing 744 freighter took off from the Huahu International Airport in Ezhou, Hubei Province on June 18, 2025, heading to Dallas in the southern United States, marking the maiden voyage of the regular cargo route between the two cities.
It is the 102nd cargo route launched by the airport, following the one linking Ulan-Ude, Russia.
The route will run three flights per week, transporting inbound and outbound cargoes like electronic products, mechanical parts, and cross-border e-commerce goods. With a payload exceeding 100 tonnes, domestic goods can land in Dallas in just 18 hours before being distributed to major cities across the United States.
Previously, the airport has launched all-cargo routes to New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Hawaii, Chicago, Anchorage, Mexico City, and Halifax. With 28 weekly cargo flights between Ezhou and the Americas, the airport has established a comprehensive logistics network covering the American market.
Since the beginning of this year, the airport has added 14 new international cargo routes to destinations like Paris, Oslo, and Copenhagenand, as well as three domestic cargo routes, while increasing cargo flights to Liège, Budapest, and Chicago. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
