Two air cargo routes launched to link Ezhou with Italy, Brazil

  As a B777 all-cargo aircraft carrying cross-border e-commerce and fresh goods landed at the Ezhou Huahu International Airportin Hubei Province on April 1, the regular cargo route between Ezhou and Brescia, Italywas officially launched. 

  The route is scheduled to operate four flights per week. Outbound shipments mainly consist of cross-border e-commerce goods, along with industrial products such as machinery and equipment parts, and plastic products. Inbound shipments focus on high-value-added products from Italy and Europe, including luxury fashion items, personal care and cosmetic products, and precision instruments. 

  A day earlier, on March 31, the international cargo routelinking Ezhouwith São Paulo, Brazil  was also officially launched. As the first air route connecting BRICS cities at the Ezhou Huahu International Airport, it adds a new air corridor between China and South America. The route is operated by Ethiopian Airlines with three flights per week. Inbound shipments mainly consist of fresh goods such as salmon and fresh fruits. 

Since the beginning of this year, Ezhou Huahu International Airport has continued to optimize its cargo route network, adding or increasing 12 cargo routes.So far, the airport has opened a total of 117 cargo routes. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
