The 5th Chushang Conference is slated for Oct. 21-22, in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province, local government announced on Oct. 9.
This year's conference will highlight representatives of well-known Hubei businessmen from home and abroad and the chambers of commerce in the province. It will also invite some heads of the world's top 500 enterprises, China's top 500 enterprises, and China's top 500 private enterprises to attend.
Letters of appointment will be issued for the economic consultants of Hubei Province at the opening ceremony. Four specific sessions and several parallel sessions will be held on the same day.
A number of major projects focusing on industries such as advanced manufacturing, optoelectronic information, automobile and parts manufacturing, modern agricultural products processing, modern industry and energy, new materials, cultural tourism and modern commerce will be signed at the conference.
In 2011, the provincial party committee and provincial government of Hubei officially named Hubei businessmen as Chushang. Since 2013, the Chushang Conference has been held for four consecutive editions at every two years. (hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
