Hubei initiated a three-year action plan to promote industrial development and stabilize growth momentum on Monday.
According to the plan, Hubei boasts five competitive industries, including optoelectronic information, new energy and intelligent connected vehicles, life health, high-end equipment and Beidou technology.
By 2025, the industry scale of electronic information, automobile and life health aims to exceed one trillion yuan; the scale of high-end equipment industry will reach 550 billion yuan; the scale of Beidou industry is expected to surpass 100 billion yuan.
With the steady development of five industries, the output value of Hubei's manufacturing industry will raise to a new level of 7 trillion yuan.
The five industries in Hubei cover two state-level manufacturing clusters, two state-level manufacturing innovation centers, one national laboratory and six provincial laboratories, which gathers the largest number of scientific research talents and innovation platforms in the province.
