Hubei has served as the guest province of honor at the third China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, scheduled from June 29 to July 2 in the central Chinese city of Changsha.
The Hubei-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference was held during the event. Ten projects worth 1.36 billion U.S. dollars were signed in online and offline forms, covering the fields of foreign contracted projects, overseas investment and foreign trade.
Hubei and Africa have deepened economic and trade cooperation over the years. In 2022, Hubei's foreign trade with Africa reached 5.5 billion U.S. dollars, up 49.3 percent year on year. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
