Hubei experienced a significant tourism surge during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday that ended on Friday.
All A-class scenic spots in the province provided services to over 17.45 million?tourist?trips and visits over the eight-day holiday,?increasing by 43.76 percent and 109.4 percent from the same period of 2019 and 2022, respectively. The figures of tourist?trips and tourism revenue both hit record high.
According to?online platform, the tourists from outside the?province?during the holiday?accounted for 58.8 percent?of the total, who greatly promoted the catering, accommodation, shopping, transportation and other related industries.?Compared with the same period of 2019, the consumption of catering?rose by 194.9 percent, accommodation by 128.7 percent and leisure by 72 percent.
In addition, the Yangtze River Cruise in Wuhan totally received 270,000 tourist?trips during the holiday, up 30 percent?from 2019.?(en.hubei.gov.cn?by?Xin?Mingcan?and?Ruan?Xinqi)
