Wuhan Zoo slated to reopen on September 28

  Wuhan Zoo is slated for reopening on Septermber 28, it announced on Septermber 25,2023.

  After renovation, the zoo, surrounded by the Moshui Lake on three sides, will shelter more than 1,100 rare animals of 138 species in five exhibition areas which is built for wetland birds, Asian, African, Oceania and American animals. The zoo also rezones an area for children to get close to the animals and retains the Yingqu Garden.

  After opening, tickets will be on sale online and offline. Visitors are required to book tickets for September 29 and beyond through online channels, such as Meituan, Ctrip and the official website of Wuhan Zoo starting from September 26. Paper tickets will also be available at the visitor service centers.

  A reminder is that tickets for September 28 can only be purchased on the site. Visitors are advised to take a staggered trip to the zoo during the upcoming holiday considering the daily cap of 50,000 people.(en.hubei.gov.cn by Yuan Pian and Ruan Xinqi)
