Hubei is making its appearance at the ongoing 31st Arabian Travel Market (ATM), which is scheduled from May 6 to 9 in Dubai this year, along with Shanghai, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Shandong, Shanxi and other provinces and cities.
While setting up exhibition area, Hubei fully embodies Jingchu culture and scenery, highlighting the Wudang culture, scenery of the Three Gorges and Shennongjia, Wuhan’s cityscape and well-known tourism routes, and presenting Yichang, China's orange city. Pictures and videos are adopted to showcase the key tourism destinations in the province, such as Wuhan, Yichang, Shiyan and Shennongjia. A variety of promotional materials and cultural and creative products are also used to attract global attention.
On the opening day of the exhibition, Hubei's exhibition area became popular with visitors from all over the world for colorful exhibits and wonderful performances. On the site, they actively interacted with intangible cultural heritage inheritors of Wudang martial arts, Daye embroidery and Wuhan dough sculpture, tasted famous Hubei teas such as Enshi Jade Dew Tea, Lichuan Black Tea, and Wudang Daoist Tea, as well as carried out business talks.
Hubei and Dubai reached a consensus on cultural and tourism exchanges at the exhibition. An orange promotion meeting facing the Gulf countries was also held, which witnessed the overseas warehouse of Hubei’s orange industry chain in the Middle East unveiled and related purchase and sales agreements signed between Hubei enterprises and the Gulf Arab countries.
The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) is the largest annual professional travel exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa. In 2024, the 31st ATM is expected to attract more than 50,000 visitors, with participation of more than 2,500 exhibitors and representatives from more than 150 countries.
