Hubei signed 45 major projects worth 60.422 billion yuan in the 13th Central China Investment and Trade Exposition (Expo Central China), held from May 31 to June 2 in Changsha, Hunan Province.
During the expo, Hubei organized a project matchmaking conference on industry chain and supply chain of new materials in the central region. The province’s 18 projects worth 38.952 billion yuan were inked at the conference.
This year's expo covered an exhibition area of approximately 40,000 square meters, and featured 25 relevant activities. It attracted the participation of more than 220 multinationals, 1,052 enterprises and 2,272 exhibitors from 32 countries and regions.
Since its launch in 2006, Expo Central China has played an important role in promoting the coordinated development of the regional economy and expanding the region's opening-up. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
