The?Enshi?Xujiaping?Airport?in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture?has passed its?acceptance?review for opening up, the?national officials?announced on Thursday.
To date, the airport?has launched?18?domestic routes to 22 cities. From January to October this year,?the?passenger throughput reached 1.51 million, while?the cargo throughput stood at?1,673 tonnes, up 11.21?percent?and 30.84?percent?respectively.
In June 2019, the airport was?approved for?temporary opening up,?becoming the third civil airport to open international and regional routes?in Hubei. The?airport has launched?international and regional flights?to Macao, Siem Reap in Cambodia, Da Nang in Vietnam, Pattaya in Thailand, and Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam.
