Hubei adds 13 int'l, regional air routes in one month

  Hubei has added 13 new international and regional air routes since late March, bringing the total number of air?passenger and cargo routes in?the province?to 96, according to Hubei General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection.
  Wuhan Tianhe International Airport resumed flights to Vientiane, Laos, and Jakarta, Indonesia, between April 10 and 12. As of April 16, Wuhan Border Inspection Station had handled 443,000?inbound and outbound passenger trips, including 78,000 trips made by foreigners, up 12.2 percent year on year. Visitors from South?Korea, Singapore, Russia and Thailand were the main sources of inbound trips.
  At Enshi Airport, five routes have been resumed between March 29 and April 8?to link Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in Vietnam, Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia, and Incheon and Daegu in South Korea. The?airport now handles over 2,000?inbound and outbound passenger trips?per week on average, with foreign trips?accounting for more than 90 percent.
  At Sanxia Airport in Yichang, the average weekly number of international flights has reached over 26, an increase of 8.3 percent from the same period last year. As of April 19, the airport had recorded over 32,000 passenger trips in 2026, of which approximately 15,000?or 47.9 percent, were foreign trips.
