On 10 August, at the construction site on the south bank of Shuangliu Yangtze River Bridge, technicians were working on the main tower despite of the high temperature.
Shuangliu Yangtze River Bridge and connection project spans 34.7 km, passing through Xinzhou District of Wuhan and Huarong District of Ezhou, and is the widest double-tower steel box girder suspension bridge under construction on the Yangtze River. Upon completion, it will optimise the structure of highway network of Wuhan metropolitan circle and promote the integration process of "Wuhan-Ezhou-Huangzhou-Huang".
