The shantytowns transformation is regarded as a pro-people project. In recent years, Ezhou Municipal Government Investment Engineering Construction Center has maintained a strict standard for the planning and design, and the safety and quality of engineering construction as well, promoting the construction of shed-to-resettlement houses in an orderly manner. Thanks to that, a batch of key shed-to-resettlement houses have been completed and put into use one after another. Among them, Yingshan resettlement residential area has been submitted for inspection, and 609 sets of houses have been allocated; 24 residential buildings in Yanji resettlement residential area phase II have been completed and accepted; 2,128 houses in 62 residential buildings in Yangye resettlement residential area phase II have been allocated; 3,150 sets of houses in Chengnan resettlement residential area have been allocated; 80% of the overall construction task for 904 sets of houses in 9 residential buildings in Yuebei resettlement residential area has been completed, and it is planned to be completed and submitted for inspection in this December.
